PHILANTHROPY
The Sisters of Delta Phi Omega strongly believe that a quality education is the key to success, and therefore, should not be taken from any child. Because of this, we have chosen Children's Literacy and Education as our philanthropy. Through our LITERACY Through Unity Week and other fundraising events, in the past, we have raised over thousands of dollars to donate to CARE, Pratham, and Asha for Education. Service to our community and to our philanthropy is our way of trying to give back to the less fortunate. Throughout the year some of the service events we are involved in include: Be the Change National Gandhi Day of Service, Relay for Life, and Literacy Through Unity Week. Through our commitment to service, the sisters of Delta Phi Omega reach beyond the box of university life, remaining connected to the world around them and proactive in efforts of human progress.
